Thirty Four Days in Quarantine, by Leslie Damaso

Do you think the blue of distance
Yearns for here,
As much as we yearn for there?

Does it see a beauty here,
Equal to what we see over there?

When we move towards it,
Is it moving to us just the same?

When we weep as it turns to nothing,
Does it cry as well?

What if we went to the water,
And drowned in its reflection?
