This month’s cover art is by Cindy Taylor of Mineral Point. Cindy says: “I enjoy working in a variety of mediums, including oil, acrylic, gouache and pencil. Last summer I did a series of oil pastel drawings of flowers. The cover art is a sunflower from that series. Because the sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine, displaying a sunflower is a way of showing solidarity with the people of Ukraine. I have titled the piece, ‘Thinking Of Ukraine.’” Many thanks to Cindy for her contribution to this month’s magazine!
