Workshop: Beginning Rosemaling

Have you ever wanted to learn the elegant and historically decorative art of rosemaling? Or maybe you need a refresher? Then this class is for you! Students at this level will learn brush control and technique, completing a basic scroll and a flower form. The final task will be to paint a design of at least 3-4 inches in both height and width. The class will be taught in oils and we will work on a practice board. Taught by Nancy Odalen, this will be an interesting, fun and informative class that will provide you with a firm foundation in the art of rosemaling.
