(Virtual) Confucius Institute 2021 Chinese New Year Celebration

Streaming on Facebook, enjoy traditional Chinese cultural performances including dances, songs, martial arts, yo-yo playing, musical instruments and Peking Opera. This UW-Platteville event celebrating the Year of the Ox is offered in partnership with San Diego Confucius Institute, Confucius Institute of Chinese Opera at Binghamton University and South-Central University for Nationalities.

The UW-Platteville Confucius Institute, established in 2008, is part of an international network of more than 1,100 Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms dedicated to enhancing the understanding of the Chinese language and culture around the world. It is the only Confucius Institute in Wisconsin. We are also the only Confucius Institute in a partnership with one of the six Universities for Nationalities in China, who are under the administration of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission.
