State of the Riverway Symposium

Please join the Friends of the Lower Wisconsin Riverway for a fun-filled, educational experience dedicated to the Lower Wisconsin Riverway Oct. 12-13.
The event will begin at 9 a.m., Friday, at the Vintage Brewery on the Wisconsin River in Sauk City. Mark Cupp, executive director of the Lower Wisconsin Riverway Board, will start off the day, followed by presentations and break-out sessions on dark skies, fish management, the geology of the river, invasive species, clean water, watershed issues and much more! The $30 registration fee includes a buffet-style breakfast and lunch.
Friday will conclude with a banquet dinner at 6 p.m., with a dynamic presentation by David Schweitzer, an enthusiastic August Derleth scholar. Tickets are $25 and include dinner.
Saturday begins at 11 a.m., at the VFW in Prairie du Sac, with a FREE fish biology presentation. Attendees then may choose one of three exciting FREE field trips. Box lunches will be provided for $7.
