Souper Bowl: Mulligan Stew and More

This year’s fundraiser for the Mineral Point Community Foundation looks at how individuals in the historic hobo sub-culture worked together to produce a communal meal in the form of Mulligan Stew. Bread, a free drink and dessert will be provided, but the main course will be Mulligan Stew, which traditionally was made by cooking everything the hobos could procure in one big pot. Readings and song about hobo culture will convey how important cooperation is in any type of community. $75 tickets available at Tony’s Tap or email kristin@kristinmitchelldesign.com; attendance limited to 75.
