Sankta Lucia Workshops & Ceremony

Celebrate this lovely Swedish tradition marking the return of light in the darkness of winter. At 3 p.m., enjoy afternoon workshops including Scandinavian crafts, learn to shape the traditional Lussekatter (saffron Lucia buns), learn traditional Swedish Lucia songs (required for participation in the evening ceremony). A 5:30 p.m. potluck will be followed by candlelit procession with Lucia ceremony and dancing.
