On Color: A Virtual Presentation by John Miller
March 17 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm$10
This presentation will be broken into three parts:
- The History of Color
- Understanding the Science
- Putting Knowledge to Practical Use (+ Brief treatment on Photographing your Art)
Each section will be followed by a brief Q&A session with John.
This class will focus on practical tools for the judicious use of color based on understanding the science. I know that some creatives might be scared away by emphasizing the idea of a scientific presentation, since many creatives believe that they think intuitively rather than analytically. I contend that these ways of thinking are not in conflict but rather reinforce each other. The more practiced we are and the more we know, the more spontaneous we can be in action and in this case act to make better color choices.
Sometimes new perspectives help all of us think in new ways about something we thought we understood. ~John Miller
