OMHS Paws Fur the Holidays

Celebrate the joy of pets at the Ocooch Mountain Humane Society’s Paws Fur the Holidays! The annual event features live music, excellent food and many features such as two raffles you can enter the day of the event, two booths for kids of all ages where everyone gets a prize plus the opportunity to enter the drawing to win Jingles the Dalmation, a 4-foot-tall “toy” dog! In addition there is a Sweet Walk with homemade sweets created by OMHS members and friends, shirt sales and membership table. Special events from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. are planned for dogs and their companions, including musical chairs, best performance in obstacle course, speediest time in the tunnel race, the slowest time in the tunnel race, a dog/companion look-alike contest, highest jump, lowest jump, biggest dog, smallest dog and dancing with your dog! Join us for some fun with pets and support the efforts of the Ocooch Mountain Humane Society! There is no admission charge.
