Live Music: Ron McCabe

Ron McCabe writes songs that celebrate the beauty of nature, love of family and the life of the spirit. His songwriting has been influenced by Bob Dylan, Donovan, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Bruce Cockburn, James Taylor, Neil Finn, L. J. Booth, and his brother Bruce McCabe. Bruce’s blues/rock songs have been featured on the popular television shows “American Idol” and “The Voice.” Ron’s recording “I Drift Away” includes love songs to family members, a friend now far away, a handsome standard poodle, the Mississippi River and the mysterious source of love itself. Ron and his wife, Deborah, live in Wisconsin Rapids.
