Live Music: PraiseFest
September 17, 2022
Did you know that we have our very own praise fest here in the Wisconsin River Valley? We do and the fourth annual event is coming Sept. 17 to the beautiful lawns of Midland UMC in Mazomanie.
Six bands, musicians from Wisconsin and nearby states, take the stage throughout the day to entertain, lift up and inspire you. The beautiful country atmosphere adds to the peace and relaxation you will feel. The festival is put on to raise money for the United Methodist Committee on Relief, which is usually the first in and on the ground when disaster strikes and various local area missions. Your ticket purchase will support efforts to help others survive disaster and trouble.
This year’s lineup starts at 10 a.m. with local Myles Talbott Dyad followed by Spare Parts Quartet out of Madison, local Stars Entertainment with Randy Hanzel, who does the sound setup, and Florence Langer, a local favorite. The afternoon continues with George Nicholson of Illinois at 2:30 p.m., Reflect Worship at 4 p.m. and the finale of the show at 5:30 p.m. is Hillsboro native Brendan Brooks.
Tickets for six bands is just $15 and children 15 and under are admitted free. Tickets are available from every church member, the church office at 10235 Cty Rd. KP, Mazomanie, by calling (608) 767-3358 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
