Composting Fun with Worm Wrangler Sue

July 6, 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

Join us for a fun, hands-on program on worm composting! Red wiggler worms turn food waste into rich soil, which plants love. Worm Wrangler Sue Krause will show how you can compost at home and create your worm farm.
Sue lives in Cassville and owns Big River Organics. Her company processes hundreds of pounds of local food waste, turning it into beneficial worm castings.
Note that this program will be held OUTSIDE at the Saxton House. Please dress appropriately for sun and bugs. The Robert LaFollette Museum will be open for browsing.
