Beginner Photography Workshop

New to photography? Stuck in “Auto” mode? Maybe you just can’t seem to get your pictures to look right? Come join professional photographer Andrew Pielage for his Introduction to Photography Workshop at Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece Taliesin.

The buildings and rolling hills of the 800-acre estate will be the backdrop for a weekend of iconic architecture and photography. The workshop will begin with an evening tour of Wright’s home, including a meet and greet with the instructor. Begin your artistic exploration at sunrise, with time built in to take sunset photos as well.

During the session, you will learn the tools you need to take control of your camera including aperture, shutter speed and ISO. Learning the rules of composition and consideration of light and shadow will help participants continue to grow in their creativity and skill at photography.

Students provide their own fully manual camera/lenses, tripod, flashlight or headlamp, and good walking shoes.
